This course will give you foundational knowledge of human anatomy and physiology and the biological basis of human health. You will learn about the maintenance of normal bodily functions across the lifespan and be encouraged to demonstrate an application of biological science knowledge.
Topics include organisation of the human body: chemical and cellular basics, body systems, maintenance of homeostasis, structure and function of the musculoskeletal system and the structure and function of the nervous, cardiovascular and respiratory systems.
